How much music do you have on your computer?
 

Just under 16gb for me. I expect some members on here to dwarf that pathetic amount with mammoth figures.

378GB and 67,000 files approximately, including images etc.

Over how long roughly did you acquire all of that?

Slightly less than three years.

252 GB on the box where I'm playing it from, in total hard to tell :)

I have listened to about 60-70 albums in 2012. Do you lot listen to more than that in a year? How on earth do you manage it?

Slightly off topic that but I collected my 16gb in just over a year.

I have rated just over 200 albums from 2012 according to RYM and probably listened to a few more and let them slip. I literally do nothing other than listen to music, watch TV/films, play video games and occasionally look for jobs :D

Of course I don't listen to all of them all the time. Think of it as of a library, the bigger the better. You can go and choose whatever you feel like at any time.

I wanted to listen to loads of new music in 2012 and 60ish albums compared to 200+ is not that great. Thanks :mad:

I've got 450 GB with around 38,000 files in my music library, accumulated since around October 2010. I'm pretty bad at downloading stuff and taking a long time to get to it so it piles up in a crazy way. It gives me great options when I do decide I want to listen to something new, though! I also try and get everything I can in a lossless formats so they take up a ton of space. I currently have a 500 GB external hard drive for music but I'm upgrading to a 2 TB external fairly soon.
