I stumbled across this woman earlier and this, for me, is the most worthy:

Can't link to the actual song, but she's covered 'Smile' and given her situation I think it's a beautiful choice (she has had cancer for the last 6 years and recently found out it is terminal, she recently fulfilled a long held ambition to record a song at Abbey Road Studios), it's currently number 66 in the iTunes chart, down from 17 a couple of days ago.
