Red face Songs Your First Love Got You Into

Hi all! I haven't by any means combed the forum for a topic like this, but I don't think its been done before. Mods, feel free to delete/move this post if it doesn't belong!

This thread is for songs that your first love got you into. Please post just one! First loves have a way of kinda...making you do stuff you wouldn't have done otherwise, amirite?

I have to say, I did not ever once imagine myself listening to dirty trashy eurodance until I met my first boyfriend in the ripe year of 2004. Since then, its DJ mixes all the way.

Here's mine:

God....not to mention how effing cheesy the premise for this song is. STALKER

Seriously? 97 views and not one other person has a song? Is it embarrassing or was it just a ****ty idea??

I'm still trying to think of something.

The first girl I thought I loved had (and still has) completely awful taste in music, so nothing from her.

The next one that I could consider my first love was into all the same music as me. Her favorite song was "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" by The Clash. We went out one day and went to our favorite record store, and I bought the album the song is on, Combat Rock. On the way home we blasted it and shouted along. She didn't get me into the song, since I had loved The Clash way before I met her, but the song definitely gained a lot more meaning.

The next day she dumped me. Oh, the irony!

The next day? What a heartless b*tch. Still, a great story.

Well, I'm just gonna assume that a) none of you people fell in love before, b) the song is too embarrassing, or c) your first love had terrible taste in music.

In fact, maybe I should have just made this a poll with those three options. :P

I like that song, too. In fact its a song that my second boyfriend got me into, ha. The Spanish version is much easier to listen to, though.

I can't even decide who my first love was. XD

ONE of my first loves, however, really got me listening to Placebo. Especially 'Blackeyed' and 'Blue American'.
