Your favourite tunes
idk if i posted this in the wrong section or if it is a waste time, but the idea of this thread is to post your favourite songs, the songs you keep coming back to for whtvr personal reason and explain a little why they are your personal favourite..
it could be any genre, you know just give a little explanation why you like the track :) i'll start with Peaches 'F*ck the pain away' i luv this track cause it's sleazy and the beat is very minimalistic with an old school feel, it's basically a stripper song i admit it, in fact i discovered it in 'Lost in translation' in the stripper scene lol safe to say if i were a female stripper this would be my jam |
This is my fav tune because it slaps u over the head with a ****ing baby seal
Killbot - I'll **** It - YouTube |
This is my favorite mostly because of the fast tempo and the amazing guitar solos throughout the song.

The first time i heard it i started to laugh cause it's so fast and exaggerated but after time it grew on me. This track took me awhile to like, my friend made a big deal about it, said it was amazing, that it was an odd track for the replacements cause they usually don't sound like that but i still didn't like it. One day i started to like it, it was weird. lol the mood of the song which was the reason i didn't like it, it's now the reason i like it. |

but like i said i liked it, it's just not my kinda genre, it's more to show off how fast you can play somehow 'intense' is not intense enough for them.. but hey, to each his own :) this one was recommended by a friend of another site, i haven't listened to whole album yet, but the video is a mind f*ck and at 2:13 it gets epic.. that beat is just, Amazing |
I know its not traditional Black Sabbath but this track is just so ambient and goes in a completely different direction.
No big solo's no heavy riffs just a really well put together track. |
I've never seen this thread on this forum before.

Here's a few of mine: Beautiful lyrics, smattering cacophony, and Captain Beefheart. Need I say more? Only a fifteen minute clip of the 48 minute masterpiece. Abe breaches every texture that the bass clarinet knows and Takayanagi responds quietly with, then Abe moves on to harmonica and Takayanagi really takes his chance to shine. Great industrial textures, harsh political rhymes, and some badass turntables. Who can say no? |
