Default Cover songs

i used the search engine here to see if there was already a Cover song Thread but nothing showed up

As the title states, this thread is for cover songs from any genre, preferably good cover songs but that's up to taste

i know a couple of good cover songs some IMO sound better than the original..

plz, 1 video per post and explain who did the original song.. you can post the original song and the cover if you wish to highlight the difference between the 2

i'll start with the get up kids covering the Pixies 'Alec eiffel'

essentially is the same version as the pixies but more up tempo and kinda with a punk feel..
they also completely redid the "Oh alexander" bridge in their own way, the drummers kills it in that part i thought it was really good

i actually prefer this cover over the original

When doing a search use thread titles as an option.
