Skinny Puppy are great. Or at least their original 80s and 90s run was great. I still haven't listened to any of they stuff the released after getting back together a few years ago.

What's that one alternative band? Sick puppies? Or Dying Puppies? I'm not sure, but they suck.

Not sure. Skinny Puppy are an electro-industrial band though.

I have Ferdinand the Bull as a tribute to Elliott Smith (and the author/illustrator team).

The new one is as close as they've come to their old school sound. Each post-reunion album has been better than the last. I didn't care for the sound of the first or second all that much, but have enjoyed all the songs live.

That's cool. I've never seen them live unfortunately. The closest I've come was seeing Ogre on tour with KMFDM.

You should, they'll probably tour this album as well. I never got to see them during their original run, as I became a fan in 92 after Last Rights was released and they didn't tour The Process. The closest I came before they reunited was Download in 1996 (fucking amazing - much closer in sound to SP than Ogre was early on), and also Ogre when he toured his first album in 2001. I'm pretty sure he headlined the show I saw.
