I do that, if I feel I want more of the song or if its stuck in my head.
For example, today I listened to Chumbawamba's alblum "Tubthumper" and I could not stop going back to "Tubthumping" and "Amnesia" because they are my favorite tracks on the alblum.

I do it until I get sick of it.

Also, if a song is stuck in my head and I haven't actually heard it yet. I will play it two or three times in a row then I'm good.

I put this on repeat on my iPod. I love the guitar solo and the vocals right before it.

I can't do it. Only in really rare circumstances, but it usually bothers me endlessly to listen to the exact same song on repeat.

I am the same way. I can't even listen to a song one time through if it is too repetitive within itself. Only in very rare and special circumstances can I do this.

I just don't want to ruin songs for myself. Moderation is key.

I do the exact same thing myself Deej.

Maybe its because I am a musician and I just have to get any particular song so imbedded to the point I can recite by instinct or play it blindfolded. I always pick up some new musical accent (with any song) no matter how often I repetitiously listen to it. Ive actually listened to a particular song for a solid week at a time (or more) before, non-stop.
