Songs You Whistle

What songs do you whistle? I'll start with myself first. I pride myself on being able to whistle as fast, clean, and accurately as the whistler in the song Georgie Girl by The Seekers.

I usually whistle out guitar parts with the song when learning something. But, yeah... the only whistling tunes I can think of are Patience (GnR), and the end of Dock of the Bay (Otis Redding).

Ennio Morricone- King of the Whistling Film Soundtrack

For A Few Dollars More:

A Fistful of Dollars:

The Good, Bad and the Ugly:

Who was the whistler on all those Morricone spaghetti western sountracks?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...essandroni.jpg
Alessandro Alessandroni- The mysterious whistler on the Morriccone soundtracks.

The whistler the Morricone soundtracks was Alessandro Alessandroni, a childhood friend of Morricone's. Like Morricone, Alessandroni was an Italian film soundtrack artist and composed almost as many film scores as Morricone.

The music of Morricone & Alessondri was so similar, it's hard to tell if Morricone influenced Alessondri's music; or if it was Alessondri who influenced Morricone's music. Alessandroni was a musical prodigy who played guitar, mandolin, mandolincello, sitar, accordion, and piano.

Alessandro played that twangy guitar you hear on all of Morricone's spaghetti western soundtracks. His guitar playing was a brilliant blend of Dick Dale surf guitar and Duane Eddy style rockabilly flat-picking.
