Default Songs that make you nostalgic

I searched for a similar thread but couldn't find one so feel free to merge

My housemates and I have been spending the past few hours reminiscing our teenage years and playing old songs that we used to rock out to. The music is not necessarily good, in fact most of it is awful, but listening to it just makes me so happy and makes me relive my teenage years/younger days. I want to be 16 again!

Here are some gems that we've been getting nostalgic over.

Spoiler for Hidden for YouTube links & ultimate lameness:

What songs make you nostalgic?

Here I can share some soft music I like which related to this theme:
Joi Chua-"The Road Going Home"(You can search the key words"蔡淳佳 回家的路" on Youtube), Yise Loo-"A Little Room"(You can search the key words"罗忆诗 小房间" on Youtube), Blaxy Girls-"Dear Mama" and some old songs like "Five Hundred Miles", "As time goes by", etc.

Of course, those nostalgic songs you like the most must have become a part of your own childhood and memory. BTW, I also like the song "Smash Mouth".

Oh far too many to mention. I have become the resident DJ in our kitchen at work (I'm a chef) and I do cater for everyone and rarely play anything extreme for diplomatic reasons but nostalgia was brought up a few days ago when I played a few Red Hot Chili Peppers albums and when you find out that you you saw them live before most of the staff were born then you seriously question time and how frigging old you are.

I had a female member of staff proclaiming that she loves the band Stereophonics when she was a kid and I'm like ****, it was just a couple of years back for me or so it seems. I was a father even then. I hate being old

The first time I smoked weed I listened to this album, this song especially, and it quickly became my smoking anthem. My eyes feel a little red whenever I hear this song now.

God damn it I hate that song now. The first time I did mushrooms we were with this douche and he played this song over and over. It just kept looping. It made me real uneasy hearing "nothing is real" echo in my head during a 7 gram trip.

There's a lot of songs that make me feel nostalgic but make me cringe at the same time. One song that makes me feel really nostalgic and brings me back to a distinct time in my life is the song 'Work' by Jimmy Eat World and their 2004 album Futures. It reminds me vividly of my final year in secondary school, studying late at night for exams and shit and being both exited and worried about soon having to enter the real world. Futures wasn't the only soundtrack for that period but this song seemed tailor-made for that particular time in my life.
