Best Acoustic Cover Songs?
 

I'd like to get some thoughts on the best songs to cover on acoustic guitar! I'll be getting back on the road again soon, and also want to expand my set list for some upcoming gigs.

GnR has some good acoustic stuff on the album Lies but I guess it's not really covers because it's there songs.

Try that remake of Cake & Sodomy on Smells Like Children by Manson. It's pretty trippy.

wrecking ball by Miley cyrus can be a very good idea if your a man, it's a very popular song, and you can make a very unique version on the acoustic guitar..

Richie Havens did a great job with his acoustic cover of The Beatles' Here Comes The Sun. That's one to consider. I like it better than the original tbh.

I've always thought "Stairway to Heaven" sounds great on acoustic.

Peter Frampton's live/acoustic version of "Baby, I Love Your Way" has always been a personal favorite of mine. There is just something about his voice in the chorus...I don't normally like live songs (unless I am at the show, of course), but I actually prefer this version of the song.

I also really, REALLY love KoRn's acoustic version of "Freak On A Leash" they did on MTV Unplugged back in the day. Honestly, that whole set was glorious, but I loved how well Jonathan and Amy's voices complimented each other.
