Default The original version of some kind of miracle?

I heard this song(Some kind of Miracle) for the first time back in like '93-94 on the radio and managed to get some of it on tape but never had the full version. Searching the net all I see on this song is Kelly Clarkson or Puff Johnson. The version I heard was not either one of them and I can't seem to track the original artist for this song. The track I heard on the radio back in the 90s was so beautiful (in my opinion, the best version) and I been on a quest ever since. Does anyone know the original artist who sung this song or is there a place to find history of all artists who did this track? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it's not the Puff Johnson version? That's from the 90s. It was written by Diane Warren, but everything I see looks like the Puff Johnson version is the original recording of it.

I wish I can post the tape recording I have. It's definitely not Puff Johnson. The instrumental is different. I wish I can track the song's history to see every artist that recorded it.

Thanks, but someone's missing from that list. Remember, I recorded this song back in 93-94. Puff Johnson didn't do it until 96 and American Idol did not exist yet. It was a woman who sang it.

thats weird, allmusic is normally very reliable. even for those hard to find songs and artists. odds are, if that song were recorded at any sort of credible recording establishment, and put into release where it would be on the radio... allmusic would have it.

I'm thinking Puff and Kelly stole the thunder of this song. It's a shame because the earlier version I heard was the best. That's why I'm on the hunt. The instruments were more classical with a beautifully played piano.

Wow, I know this is a very old thread I started years ago....but here I am still without answers to this mystery. To this day, 4 years later since I started this thread, I am still searching.
