Don't get me wrong: I love all the albums from Dark side on, Waters or no Waters. But this just seems like a pointless moneygrab. And have you seen the cover of "Prog" magazine? "Pink Floyd is dead: Gilmour and Mason on why The Endless River is the end" --- gimme a break! Need another few mansions, Dave? Some more racing cars, Nick? I won't be buyin' 'em for ya!
I was really upset when I heard about what the album actually is. I'll give it a listen once it comes out, but it probably won't be anything special. It is just a pointless money grab. I do appreciate the effort of them trying to get more of their music out there, but this just seems like it could have just been added as a bonus disc on the original album that these tracks will stem from.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Thurston Moore - Perfect Day - As much as I love Sonic Youth, having trouble getting into new Thurston album. He actually sounds kinda tired and he certainly isn't breaking any new ground. Seems like poor Thurston is just roaming around looking for a bunch of musicians to jam with that sound as good as SY. At least he got Steve to play with him. Meanwhile, Lee is pumping out career-best solo albums and Kim is getting more press than she has ever gotten in her life. An interesting time for SY...

Bloodbath - Grand Morbid Funeral (Nov. 17)

I thought the band had folded up after Mikael Akerfeldt left, but apparently not and they've even got Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost) on vocals. Count me fucking excited.
