music suggestions from these bands

well i posted this in teenwall and so far nobodys got anything so i figured id post it here too.the reason i have this thread is because i had downloaded entire albums from a few of these bands and have been disappointed or just deleted them entirely because of disappointment from other downloads. but practically every post ive been in the people say i should hear some of their other stuff besides the singles. so if anyone knows of any really good songs by the following bands and would like to recommend them for my listening pleasure, that'd be great:

the used
nofx
hawthorne heights
die trying
less than jake (anything before anthem)
something corporate (anything before north)
mxpx (anything before before, everything & after)
brand new (anything before deja entendu

and hey, why not i suggest some music so i dont sound so greedy.

the academy is-skeptics and true believers
the starting line-bedroom talk
blink 182-always
offspring-spare me the details
sum 41-fat lip
relient k-which to bury, us or the hatchet
plain white t's-revenge
mest-until i met you
dont look down-defined by your desire
best interest-magic sticks in december
autopilot off-voice in the dark
fall out boy-sugar were going down

yeah i know thats a lot but, hey, theyre awesome songs. i know a lot of those sound pop-punky and most of you probably dont like that stuff but you should give em a try. they really are good.

I like Ohio is for lovers by hawthorne heights.

For NOFX you may aswell go with "The Greatest Songs Ever Written (By Us)" its got most of the classics on it and saves buying the entire back catalogue.

For Less Than Jake I would suggest "Hello Rockview/Losing Streak" it's 2 albums for the price of 1 and it has "All My Best Friends Are Metalheads" on it which is good.

I don't really know all that much about any of the other mentioned bands.

as a matter of fact miss stroppy knickers my sister happens to love the same kind of music and ive heard almost all of that list. so before you go jumping on your high horse learn that assumption more often then not makes you look stupid.

Urban Hat€monger ? 06-22-2005 02:38 PM

I think should should expands your taste a little , i`m not saying it`s wrong you like that sort of thing. I just think you deserve a bit more than looking like a 14 year old fangirl , which is the image that list conjours up

holdyoualways 06-22-2005 02:39 PM

okie dokie then. i only got pissy cuz i just hate when people make assumptions that they havent even experienced. youre excused. :) and i did not, however, jump on any horse of any height.

what the hell do i care? i like what i like and if i dont like all these great bands that people rave about or whatever you think i should be listening to then who cares? if it makes me look like a 14 year old fangirl then so be it, thats what i am in your opinion. i am 15 so you were pretty close with that assumption.

Sneer 06-22-2005 02:41 PM

oh i am so glad i have your forgiveness. made my day it really has.

holdyoualways 06-22-2005 02:41 PM

still, to be unwilling to at least attempt to open yourself to a wider range of music is just pure ignorance.

I guess you must have missed the bit where I said there`s nothing wrong with what you like

holdyoualways 06-22-2005 02:50 PM

no, i just tend to focus on the negative, not the positive, if you havent previously noticed.

have you come to this concluding opinion on zeppelin without having listened to them before?

holdyoualways 06-22-2005 02:54 PM

...no. that would be hypocritcal of me.

Sneer 06-22-2005 02:58 PM

my thoughts precisely. oh well your not a fan of my music and im most definetly not a fan of your music. lets leave it at that.

holdyoualways 06-22-2005 03:02 PM

okie dokie then.

davidMC1982 06-22-2005 03:13 PM

Now you've all got your toys back in your prams, how about getting on with the thread? :)

Having looked at your tastes you'd probably like Straylight Run and Soul Asylum.

Dave
