Things that come around again!

Surely one of the true signs of a great band where musicianship and excellent vocal become almost 'timeless' is when the next generation of real music lovers search and find what is truely timeless.

How many examples must there be?

My nephew, who is 18 years younger than me, announced at the tender age of 16 that he had 'discovered' an amazing 'new' Canadian band.

That was Heart!

He was in dis-belief that his old uncle has all their albums and actually 'discovered' them first. In 1975!

Great stuff eh?

The Beatles are like an STD you never quite get rid of tbh

Being new to this forum, is this the quality of reply and debate to be expected?. I hope not, but I will reserve judgement.

Sansa? Was that sarcasm? You should not say anything nasty about the Fab Four if you are quoting Oasis...
Anyway, Hey Now is a pretty good song.

But yes, great music is able to stay popular through the years. That's what differs ABBA from Boney M or Beatles from Dave Clark Five and so on.

Hmm people still keep talking about AC/DC so...

What's even funnier is, Heart is from Seattle, not Canada. :bonkhead:

This. They gigged a lot in Vancouver in the early days, because it's only two hours north. I saw 'em in Portland three or four times

[insult removed] American by birth of course, but were only given any attention in Canada, their adopted home.

Hardly an issue I suggest, but you are easily ammused eh?
