What do you think about this?

Hi everybody! :)

First, I'm French. Maybe I'll make some mistakes. You can correct, it will help me.

Well, my dream is to be a singer. I would like to live in England, and make myself known. In France, I think it's very difficult to get on in music rather English countries (like USA, England, etc...).

What is your opinion about a French singer who sing in English ? Who try to "export" him in countries? It's hard to explain this... X)

Thank's to answer me :wavey:

Your work has got to speak for itself. If you're really good, then start by collaborating with some local musicians and build your portfolio. For an event organizer to invite you to a foreign country is not cheap so if they're paying lots of money then they have to pay for quality and someone who'll pull a crowd.

I would advise you to build your profile/brand 1st. These days a lot of musicians book themselves. Each time they go on a vacation they speak to promoters/event organizers of whatever country they're visiting and hook up a few gigs and if they rock they get booked.

A local tour can help as well. Create video footage and upload on video sharing sites such as Youtube.

Hope that helps. Good luck
