Yes, that would be something. Maybe he could do a dubstep version of "It's Still Rock And Roll To Me", since new wave is no longer relevant.

No way. It should be a a performer that can get crowds and that can able to succeed and make great music. Who cares if the performer is young or old.

Why not pick an older act that hasn't performed together on awhile.

Hardly...his tour starts in 2 weeks. He's at MSG Monday, then plays Raleigh, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Toronto. July, he's playing Fenway Park. :D (Note: he's a die-hard Yankee fan.)

I don't care who plays as long as Dave Grohl is behind the drumkit :drummer:

It's Bruno Mars? Recording that.

I thought he was good enough to make an impact on the people that have been hiding under a rock lately and never heard of him (*cough* some older folks I know). Most people really don't understand what it takes to pull off a performance like that. Years of training and self discipline, as well as sludging through the grime to get to a pinnacle of that magnitude. As for his performance, he made it look easy, and THAT is the sign of a solid performer. I enjoyed it, although it was just a bit sterile. Just a bit.

...and RHCP, well... yeah they've performed that tune live a million and one times, so...

It was fine, to me, but what was that about? The most random thing - a 20 year old song mixed in for no reason.
