Default Jazz "Screamo" Vocal Technique

Does anyone know how can I do a specific technique, where I can produce with my voice this jazz-funk screamo effect that Zucchero's singer does, without hurting my voice?

For what is worth I am a baritone with a few bass and tenor notes.

I'm not familiar with Zucchero. Can you link to a video?

I assume this is what he's talking about.

I don't know what vocal technique he's referring to, and I'm getting the impression this was a trap to get us to post the video. Because this sounds like a latin Eric Clapton - such a bad, mediocre rock song.

Well, maybe it's latin, maybe it's funk, maybe it's rock, it's not my field to know specifically. I appreciate the fact that you posted the video, because I don't have this preveledge yet. Although, this is a thread for people that can actually help with my situation, I would appreciate more technique territory comments, than observation contest.

Anyone can post YouTube video. You just copy everything after the "=" sign in the video's URL and wrap it in YouTube tags which you can get by clicking the "YouTube" button.

At any rate, I checked that song out and don't hear anything that sounds like "jazz screamo" vocals. Could you maybe point out a specific instance of it?

Troll alert!
He could be referring to the shouting that occurs when the song has built up some energy.
