Well, I think the whole point of a play list, is the order. etc,

But, I was also thinking. "**** all this, I have bigger **** to deal with" (than making a playlist. Maybe, jut send her a DATA DVD full of songs
and be like, "Sort it out". But, I thought that would be kinda rude. After all she's done. So.....I dunno.

P.S. Russell Brand is brilliant.

i like to take it a step further

its called BIT MIX

basically u make a play list of songs basically one song can be molded together of 3 different songs ......... kinda like what the DJ's do

that and lots of weird Interludes LOL

P.S. I was thinking the same thing (maybe): Hey, this is a CD for 'sadness', this one for 'uplifting', this one just in case you like to 'groove/dance'.

Or, a mix? in each CD? But what %? Or do different 'sad' songs naturally contrast?

Why am I obsessing over this thing???

Still, I am.
So...
If you do something like your example. Put a few of them in a row that would be sad then put the uplifting one to change up the mood then you can progress into groove stuff to bring up the rear.

It should be like one sad, one uplifting, one sad then one dance. It messes with the mood that you are attempting to create. This is similar to how DJs make up a set list for their gigs.

Generally there are two different approaches I take to creating a playlist: one with a specific theme, where I group together songs of either a similar genre or subject matter, or one with no particular theme, in which case the only rule I follow is that each song should sound completely different to the one preceding it. This keeps things interesting, and also sounds slightly schizophrenic

Lots of good advice.

In a state, will post more later.
Since I'm not even sure if she really 'listens' to music...
Guess I'll stick with a theme for each CD and throw in a couple surprises.

Post more later.
'Slept' 2 hours, now 4 hours later, off to 'sleep'.

BE well. Thanks for the advice.
