Default Theory of Music - Course(s)

Guys,

I am very much interested in Music and at this stage as a middle aged man, I want to do my Masters in Music Technology. I have been asked to do Theory of Music Course and then they will really consider my application. All the universities I have contacted have given me this piece of advise.

I currently live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and want to know where I can do this course in weekends or weekday evenings, preferably nearer to my place here.

Please advise and any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks....Karthik

Which universities were you contacting? I only know of one school in Canada that offers an MA in Music Technology and that's McGill in Montreal, as well as a select few in the US.

As for a music theory course, that depends on what level course you have to take. You probably need a course credit from an accredited institution, right? I would suggest contacting the University of Toronto OR the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. They may be able to provide you with more information.
