Default Best Band of all time
I know many people will probably debate this, but I have listened to a wide variety of music and all ways go back to Pink Floyd. IMO they have some of the most creative raw songs, and do the best job of capturing emotions while using poetic imagery in the lyrics to create beautiful intense soundscapes. Most of their songs also have deep inner meanings and apply perfectly to different situations. Overall I think they are one of the most creative inspirational bands of all time and the pioneered a very unique sound that has effected many musicians and people to this day. If you don't agree with me listen to the album Animals, or watch Pulse live on youtube. Some of the most powerful music I have heard and probably will ever hear.
