Default Genres that don't exist but really should.

I just thought of this thread because I've been jamming with my bassist brother a lot lately, and we're both really into doom/sludge type stuff, but play and listen to funk and jazz in equal measure... why can't there be funk-sludge? Or sludge-funk. Whatever. Something in between old school Mastodon and Parliament Funk. Or maybe Electric Wizard and Herbie Hancock.

Anybody else yearning for some truly out-there, ridiculous genres or bands that don't exist but should?

Holy crap, it's like a dream come true. It's a bit more like doom-disco, but close enough! Anybody have a link? Or know of anything similar?

A cappella harsh noise would be an incredible fusion of genres, in all honesty.

Slowcore and noise rock. Slow noise. Also, country and shoegaze. Cuntgaze?

It would be tough to make harsh noise with vocals.
