Default How Often Do U Play alone?

Most of my playing is alone. I need to start recording my noodles. I have to play all the time. Others may not want to or they're not around. I live with a bass and drummer. I need to play much more than I can get them in

Whenever I get the urge. I feel like I play alone to often, because I play a lot better with other people to work off of.

All the time. I'm a piano player and all the pieces I play are for solo piano.

I very rarely play with other people because I don't really know anyone into playing weird music, or anyone open to the idea. It's a shame though, I need someone to help me jot down good riffs and melodies that I come up with on the fly as they get lost the next day. I'm too lazy to record them, but I need people to encourage me to build upon what I start.

Too often, I love band situations/collaborating though.

I certainly play weird music and I have folk to play it with me. It takes some development to get them there, but when they do, it's fun

On guitar and piano I play alone all the time.

Occasionally I get a nice duet going on the skin flute.

I play the guitar alone most of the time actually. And I enjoy it

Alone most of the time, probably not the best. I feel much of my improvement came from playing with other musicians and picking bits and pieces up off them. Great way to learn new styles and incorporate them with your own.

Though, it is hard to find people that are interested in playing similar music to what I like to muck around with.
