Default The Queen Is Dead vs. Disintegration

Both great albums, and I think this is an interesting match up but which one do you guys prefer and why?

The Cure's "Disintegration"?

or

The Smiths' "The Queen Is Dead"?

Disintegration by a huge margin for me. It's one of my long time favorite albums, the kind that transport me somewhere else and feel like a single, unified piece.

Disintegration >> anything the smiths have ever done

And the queen is dead isn't even the best smiths album.

Honestly that's like asking me whether I prefer sugar or corn syrup. I like them both, they are both ****in sweet sweet sugary lovely goodness.

They are both completely different sounding records at the heart of the matter. Don't make me choose.....Please!

Dammit it's like asking me which arm I don't want more.

Stop musical amputations, they are just wrong.

Am I the only one who doesn't care about either record?

You don't like either record, or you don't like either artist.

I know what you said, I am just probing?

Heh, probe.

I hardly ever listen to either of those records anymore. They both have, imo, some of the artist's best songs on them but there's a lot of filler. Disintegration is more consistently good imo, really only one or two tracks I know I'm iffy on while TQID really only has 3 songs I like. Disintegration, for me.

Don't like The Smiths.
The Cure don't do much for me either.
If I had to choose one, Disintegration has Lovesong on it, so it wins but I really have no great love for either record.
