Compilation Project
 

Hi i'm new to the site, thought i'd say howdy and spread the word about a project a friend of mine has been running from his website for about 3 months. Every month i get a new compilation cd through the door. Basically Person A makes a compilation of their fave music each month, and then sends it to Person B (who, more than likely is a total stranger). At the same time, Person C is sending Person A a compilation of music they love... As the website puts it, everyone puts a little effort in and everyone gets something in return.

It's free (apart from stamps every month) a pretty cool idea and tends to have people involved who listen to the type of music i love - i've been introduced to bands like the mountain goats, arcade fire, go! team etc from it.

Obvously, those of us signed up want more people in cos it means there'll be a wider spread of music floating about! To be fair, the website puts it tons better than i am doing, so if anyone's tempted just hit www.geocities.com/piebucket/ukcp_homepage and click the email link to sign up.
