Music that is hard to listen to

Hello guys.

I'm looking for music witch sets you in a bad mood but after you finished listening to it you come off stronger than before.

Hatebreed - Perserverance was one of those albums wich were hard for me, but now i really like it, so it kind of lost its purpose.

Any new ideas for me? Doesn't have to be a specific genre, everything is fine!

Thank you.

It doesn't get much more hard to listen to than this.

Merzbow "Pulse Demon"

Thanks for the input. Its not that cool to listen, on the other hand it doesn't really bring up bad emotions.

I'm just going to leave this here.

Bad emotions? Boom. The vocalist pretty much loses his mind on stage and turns it into a performance.

But if you want something more along the lines of Hatebreed...

And if that isn't enough for you...

Oh and if you dig Pig Destroyer, here's a nice little vid of a live performance where the vocalist's mic goes out and he keeps on going. Dude screams at the absolute top of his lungs without any kind of amplification, can still be heard over the music, and literally almost passes out.

I love that album.

Also in that same realm, Jerome's Dream was always one of my favorites that are hard to listen to, straight up no microphone screaming. It's piercing. The lead vocalist shredded his vocal chords after only a few years.

Naked City, the band formed by John Zorn, comes to mind here.
