Don't feel like listening to anything.

I'm kind of stuck. I listen to Punk, Rock, Metal and a tiny bit of ska, and it's mostly Punk. I had some artists in a list to listen to in the future. But I don't feel like listening to any of them.

At school I'm usually bored as **** so I put on familiar music, usually the same artists, but if I repeat them over and over they'll get boring. I think I feel like listening to more Punk, but new punk..and I couldn't find anything worthwhile anywhere. Everywhere I go I could only find **** I heard already. Everything was either bland and boring, or something not my cup of tea.

I haven't listened to as much Rock and Metal but at the moment, they're boring me just as much. So I guess I need something different for a while?
Thing is, with other genres, I have no idea where to start. I'd need a good gateway, I just can't jump into an entirely different genre easily. But then again, even those probably wouldn't do much for me at the moment as well..but I'm not sure.

Help me, a few months ago I still couldn't stop listening to music and it was one of the things I enjoyed most, and now my lust for music is fading, I want it back :c.

You're literally asking us to do what this entire community is designed for. Go exploring. It's like standing in Nathan's and asking if they know where to get a hot dog.

I think you just need to listen to more Melvins

I get that way some days, but it passes. If you don't feel like listening to music, then read a book or watch a movie. Jog or take in a nature walk or something. You're find your enthusiasm again.

Perhaps it's time, to quote John Cleese, for something completely different?

Sometimes you have to go to the movies! I go to European Exploitation, where you may never know what you might hear. Despite being Produced by Andy Warhol, the film was made in Europe - the mix of the Classical and Gore in some scenes is wonderful!

Then, there's this Rocker...

Listen to a selection of pop music you think is awful over and over again till you end up loving it.

This sentiment is sort of what pushed me into avant-garde music. For me, at first it was about seeing how far music could go, then it was about finding the craziest thing to show my friends when we were smoking, but after a certain point it consumed me. So if you want to be like me (heh like it's even an "if," of course you want to be like me) push into territories of music you never gave any time before.
