Every year I make a mixtape that contains my favourite songs I was listening to that year. This December will be my 10th such tape. Every mix serves as a signpost in the development of my interests. It's neat, and also completely humiliating.

I still have some of my first CDs ever purchased so that's a constant reminder of where I came from. Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Green Day 4 days.

First album I ever burned was Disturbed's Down with the Sickness. I still have it.

You should die for POD but Incubus' first album is actually pretty nice. Like Mr. Bungle on training wheels.

Unpopular opinion but Disturbed is way worse than anything born from nu-metal. I would listen to Limp Bizkit's discography *cringe* before listening to Down with the Sickness again.
