Default 2000-present day (NOT REAL MUSIC)

I know that everybody is really gunna get mad at me for this, but nowadays music, or should I say "sounds" isn't real music. Here's my point, all the singers have music that is just about sexual things (Rihanna) (Miley cyrus) (Nikki manaj) sorry I don't know how to spell that. And it matters soo much for some reason who has the biggest butt. What retards. And all the boy singers they sing crap, and some of them sound the same.

Now the good music (1950 or less - 1999

Okay most of you guys are going to complain maybe (I couldn't give less of a sh*t) but back then music was music, not noise. For example U2, ozzy osbourne, nirvana, the Beatles, and many more bands had actual music. Please take your time and compare them, it will make a huge difference

(Note) I'm not criticizing the people who like these days music, I'm just expressing harshly what I feel about it.

So tired of hearing this... Once again, the ****ty radio music that appeals to the general population (which is indeed sad) does not speak for an entire generation of musicians and their output. If you want to listen to good music then search for it. It's not hard at all. There is great music and absolutely horrendous music from all years. I'd rather shoot myself then listen to Nicki Minaj or Miley Cyrus too, but they're just 2 artists that don't really mean anything to the real music scene as far as I'm concerned.

I know this question is somewhat taboo on the internet but I'll ask anyway:
How old are you?
Do you happen to be a teenager who is annoyed by all the crappy music your fellow teenagers listen to and tries to feel somehow special and mature by listening to some slightly less crappy music from a past age?

Look, man, there's more music than meets the eye. Try giving something other than the ultra heavy radio play stuff a listen.
I'm going to list some post 2000 stuff that I'm going to ask you to take a look at. I'll focus on stuff that has a more conventional sound and avoid the weird experimental **** that I love.

The White Stripes
The Black Keys
The Kills
The Dead Weather
Raconteurs
Franz Ferdinand
Interpol
The Strokes
The Hives
The Vines
Queens of the Stone Age
Wolfmother
Andrew Jackson Jihad
The Dead Tapes

Lots more, but those all come immediately to mind. Beyond that, some more unconventional stuff that you may not like, but is unarguably artistically accomplished.

Swans
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Have a Nice Life
Death Grips
MF Doom
White Suns
Merzbow
Wolves in Sheepskin (you're welcome frownland)
Aphex Twin
Botanist
The Bad Plus
Deafheaven
Silver Mount Zion
Dope Body
Future of the Left
Lightning Bolt
Mindflayer
Black Pus
The Gaslamp Killer
Iceage
Melt Banana
Mogwai....

Err, you know what? This person is probably a troll anyway.

I guess what I'm trying to say is:
BYE

Judging music based solely on it's release date is horribly ignorant.

A lot of music on the radio was crap back in the "good old days" too.

More or less, a competent list of good bands there.

However, we do not need another f*ucking thread on this subject, what are there, five or six already?

Close this sh*t up and forget about it.
