For me it's these two right now. First, I love Calexico and I love several albums of theirs, but this is the song that's sticking with me right now: possibly the best Dylan cover ever (definitely the best not by the Byrds or the Band). They also do a great version of "Alone Again Or".

Next, this whole album is pretty good, but it peaks with the first song. Don't you hate it when that happens?
Have you heard Ghostory? This is track eight of nine...

My fiancé introduced me to this song, which I'm really digging right now. I usually hate falsetto, but in *this* song I think it fits perfectly:

Kniles - "Modify"
The song's sound reminds me of MGMT merged with the Bee Gees, and I love it! I wish I knew who this "Kniles" is and I wish he'd make more music, but so far this is the only song of his that I can see online.

Erica, your fiancé made you like falsetto (well, at least in this song)? It must be love! Waitaminute now – FIANCE?!! Congratulations, Erica – I am so very happy for both of you. Your fiancé shows excellent taste in his choice of fiancée and I have a feeling you’ve chosen equally wisely and well.

He has good taste in songs, too – I like this tune! I agree the music sounds like MGMT, and the vocals remind me a little bit of Prince.

I’ve always thought you deserve a lot of happiness because of all the love, encouragement, affirmation you give to others. So it’s very gratifying to see all that being returned to you by this very special person in your life, who loves you as you should be loved, and treasures you as you should be treasured.

I love you and wish the two of you a wonderful new life together.

I luv the lines

"You used to beg me to care of things
And smile at the thought of me failing"

Ive always liked Chevelle.
ive heard a couple of bands emulate Tool badly but for my taste Chevelle does it right.

Thank you, Liz, for your good wishes.

I only like falsetto in Kniles' song "Modify," but given how much I dislike falsetto in general, it is pretty amazing that I don't just survive the song but actually REALLY like it!

My significant other heard the song in a Bad Lip Reading of Game of Thrones video and thought I might like it, so he snuck it into a CD for me. Then he got to watch how I reacted as the songs were scrolled through in the car. When I heard the start of "Modify," I instantly perked up and expressed interest in it. So he must know something of me and my music taste to have found the song and guessed correctly that it would appeal to me.

EDIT: BTW, I'm impressed but not surprised (since it is you!) that you know the difference between fiancé and fiancée.

My other song I'm digging recently is...

Mr Little Jeans - "Mercy"

I had a really nice hypnagogic experience with this song earlier, it's a good one for sure
