adidass, couldn't resist it. I just stole 2 bands off the above list and posted them on Bands with eatable names.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 07-12-2005 05:12 PM

QOTSA, Bad Religion, The Bravery, Social Distorion and Blood Brothers (although I only have a few songs of theirs) will be good. Im sure the others'll be good too, they just dont appeal to me. Futureheads would be pretty interestin live Id say.

The Indie Bar Kid 07-12-2005 05:58 PM

Futureheads are savage live! Especially with 50000 people crying "uh-oh-oh"...Apparently at Glasto they played the "BOLLOC*S" Game with that instead of the obscenity. Now theres something worse than 3 feet of mud.

Bravery are pretty crap live they fall apart.

Otherwise, CAN I GO TOO???? We can share a sleeping bag! Mine is pink and glittery and signed by Brandon Flowers.

And YES for the last time I AM STRAIGHT

pastor of muppets 07-12-2005 08:21 PM

^heh heh...

that looks like an awesome lineup, i know id be there.....

hookers with machineguns 07-12-2005 09:27 PM

All I know is, Social Distortion should have been in BOLD letters

_The_Repeats_ 07-13-2005 01:47 AM

I wouldn't mind (I say "wouldn't mind" I mean "I would dance around all naked and happy, if I got the chance in...") seeing Bloc Party, The Bravery, The Futureheads, Maximo Park and maybe even The Ordinary Boys if I was drunk enough. Maybe not The Bravery so much, they were CRAP at Glastonbury.

Metallica_rox 07-13-2005 03:05 AM

Theres a Motorhead gig at rock city in November, i want to go so badly, tickets are only £25, in flames should be there too, but you have to be 18 to go, someone sneak me in please? i look about 18 anyway so hopefully..... :)

The Indie Bar Kid 07-13-2005 03:49 AM

OK, Tickets 25 pounds, transport, incl. Business class flight, limosuine to venue, and return journey, 500 pounds (Approx.) Four Seasons en suite for the night 4000 pounds (approx.) and having to then sit through Motorhead 353,830 pounds (exactly), and possibly, though, not restricted to, a parrot who chants "Oh Indie Bar Kid, We love you, I'd lick the dirt off, of your shoe" to the tune of Maybe Someday by the Ordinary Boys.

You still wanna go?

so what kind of music do mars mallows play?
btw, i have a choice ( as if it was a choice ), i can go see QOTSA in zagreb on the 5th of november for 25 euros or i can go to a music festival in Italy, pay 25 euros for the ticket and see 10 bands 3 of which i adore.....hmmmm.......

shandapanda 07-13-2005 04:14 PM

man i wish i could go to the music festivals here! the line-up this year was really good but they had those multiple stages and i know i would have to choose btwn many bands i adore. i feel like such a dork! i can't go to the festivals because i'm too young, it's far and would be expensive(for the actual festival and everything else), and i doubt my mom would let me, it usually rains and there's mud and noone cares, etc....i love that. i haven't been to a live show of a band i really like....*breaks down*
i'm the average constantly broke teen!......

Fenixpunk 07-13-2005 04:20 PM

Fenixpunk 07-13-2005 04:30 PM

no you're not.....spill it, what were you gonna say?

adidasss 07-13-2005 04:37 PM

she's only a year older, even tho there's 5 of us it was only natural for me to be the closest to her....that's why i said we are like siamese twins, we always did everything together, since we were kids...

The Indie Bar Kid 07-13-2005 04:49 PM

I think FenixPunk may be hinting at some kind of incestuous relationship here, Meg and Jack White stylee.

But it aint through...Trust me his sisters straight as a die...I did "The Test"

adidasss 07-13-2005 04:53 PM

that's where your thoughts went?! damn man, can't a man be close to his sister without any sick conotations to it?!

The Indie Bar Kid 07-13-2005 04:59 PM

The Indie Bar Kid 07-13-2005 05:14 PM

OK but you have to do it in the western Burmese dialect...

adidasss 07-13-2005 05:15 PM

well mine is an old saying from my village, it means "cousin( rodjack - male cousin ) fondls his cousins ( rodjitza - female cousin ) insides " meaning cousins screw each other...i guess it happened before..that's why they have a saying....
what did yours mean?

The Indie Bar Kid 07-13-2005 05:19 PM

Mines Irish for " I have noticed your sexiness, and would indeed like to caress your mother in sexual pretences"...Haha thats where working on Irish Radio gets ya!

Oh yeah and "tarraing se, bitch", means bring it, bee-yatch.

And people say its a dead language...Haha

adidasss 07-13-2005 05:33 PM

wow...i think it would be really cool if you knew how to speak irish...it's so sad that it's dying....the english have wone....fight the good battle !!....VICTORY IS OURS!!!!
but lets get back to everyone being jelaous of me going to a music festival in Italy...(c'mon people ..endulge me....i'm a sad pathetic looser who hasn't been to a single music festival...)

adidasss 08-16-2005 07:29 PM

hahaha.....ok so i'm going to bologna right, but i don't know if i mentioned this , the original plan was to go to zagreb to the QOTSA concert that was supposed to be on the 6th of september ( after that i started searching the net for other venues where the queens are performing and then found out about bologna...bla bla )...and now i found out that the zagreb gig was canceled!!!!...hahahaha.....finaly a stroke of luck for me......ahhhh.....( i kinda feel sorry for the people who already bought the tickets but they should have known better, that sort of thing happens in croatia regularly , come to think of it, i was sorta expecting it to happen on the white stripes gig and was very relieved when i acctually saw them coming out on stage )
