Kazoo Wars
I think the biggest challenge here will be seeing how long I can drag it on for.
Queen - Seaside Rendezvous Vs The Fall - New Face In Hell |
Going with The Fall. The Queen one is somewhat tongue in cheek, but I think that Fall's use is more interesting.
The Fall - 1 Queen - 0 Sign me up to host the next round. |
Consider it done. I have a feeling I know one song you'll choose.
BTW if anyone is participating don't bother including Jimi Hendrix's Crosstown Traffic. I was once reliably informed by right-track it was done with a paper & comb and not a Kazoo. Kazoo purists in this thread only please. |
Going with Queen since even though people talk highly of The Fall, i've never listened to any of their albums. I know, I need to fix that. So yeah, Queen.

Also, I like your use of "bugger". That word tickles me for some reason. |

What's so weird about that picture (the one I posted) is that if you watch it as you scroll up and down it does seem that the swirly thing moves...

The Fall - 3
Queen - 1 |
Also going with The Fall. The use of the kazoo there seems innovative and fresh, whereas the Queen song uses the kazoo in a way I'm sure we've all heard thousands of times before.
The Fall - 4 Queen - 1 |
Shall we call this one?
|
You're snoozing Urban, so I'm going to call this one for The Fall.
Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention - Hungry Freaks, Daddy vs. This Heat - Triumph |
I'm not snoozing, if I rush this thing it'll be over in 2 weeks
|
Whatever. I have about four battles as of now. I'll let you make the decision in your thread next time.
|
I'll go with This Heat because it uses in the song for more than just a fanfare.
