****ing RIAA*******s! Surely they're behind this.
Mind you, I don't tend to use Groove much; mostly Spotify and only GS if I couldn't find it on Spotify. Still, ****ers.

Aw man. At least we finally have Spotify here, but still.

this is absolutely devastating.

I found so many cool jams on this site. :(

Pet_Sounds 04-30-2015 08:13 PM

Noooo :( I discovered so much through just flicking through their Sixties playlist.

I think I've used Grooveshark twice. Still, it's upsetting as I would hate for something I use a lot to go down, like Spotify. I have a ton of playlists and wishlists there.

Aight, state coup. Tomorrow. I'm taking a plane to D.C.

We'll legalize piracy and fund Grooveshark with the rich's tax money.

Yeah, Grooveshark sometimes is inconsistent, and the sound quality can be hit-or-miss, but I can usually find more stuff on there than Spotify.

Google Play Music has a library (like Spotify) and lets you upload your own songs (like Grooveshark), combining the best from each service into one.

In other words, I have no use for Grooveshark or Spotify anymore.

Sad news indeed. I know a number of early 2000s RP sites which employed Grooveshark widgets. The pages now sport empty gray boxes.

In other news, agreements have been reached between Google and the major labels so Youtube's Music Key is moving forward.

You should take a look at my last post. Google already has a music streaming service which is working pretty great.

Will definitely check it out.
