Because I want to. And it means that those who rec later can have a chance of being reviewed sooner instead of having to wait. It adds another layer of intrigue to the thread. Your reasoning for arbitrary rules and practices is rarely satisfactory (the way you only capitalize the first letter of a title for instance) and I was especially blitzed last night. I really don't remember a whole lot tbh.

For all Batty's complaining about my new random system of choosing recs, it turns out that I spun, out of 1 to 30, the number 23, and one of his came up! Universe, you do like your little jokes, don't you? Check the OP to see which one.
