I should let you know that a while ago whenever you could first start talking about the band, and I'm pretty sure I hadn't been here that long, one of my first thoughts was "let's check this queer's indie band", and I did, and it was fine.

Not entirely sure how long ago that was, I've listened a few odd times since though

987654321 [123456789 Remixes] - #####

I've started to notice throughout the two months that I've been attempting to find my niche, I find myself constantly going back to the earlier stuff that I attempted to do, and adding more to them. Whether that's worth my time or not is not really something I'm concerned with, but I'm finding that I'm having so much more fun messing around with the sub par things that I made a month or so ago, and turning them into something more to my liking. While I wouldn't necessarily class this as a remix album, it's still the same album but redone, so whatever you wanna call it is what it is.

To me, every track sounds better than the original, and I've even found myself going back to my older stuff and straight up deleting them off my bandcamp because of how god awful they are.

Feel The Cold Air / Eorðe - #####

When I released Eorðe and Feel The Cold Air a week or so ago, those two albums are two that I'm going to hold close to my heart because not only are they two albums that I'm most proud of, they're both things I would call "full releases" of which I've never really been able to do before. Whether I'm considered good or bad at what I'm doing, I don't really mind tbh. I'm having a really good time doing what i'm doing, and I feel these two albums are representative of that.

Now that you have more releases, I will review them and I think I'll have worked up enough credit for you to review my 97 minute album

I feel I can do this.

Mondo Bungle 09-17-2016 02:44 PM

I'll review a cloud album for YD to swap and you can review whatever you want. I posted a few I want feedback for mostly but I think they're all long, and you already did two of them.

Mondo Bungle 09-17-2016 04:16 PM

I think I'll update that list I made a while back with genre descriptions for people to choose what sounds cool

https://troublesalad.bandcamp.com/al...immering-grove ( Droney psychedelic ambient from me, and some darker stuff from YD, best of both worlds)

https://troublesalad.bandcamp.com/al...eval-cosmology (space themed cosmic psych drone/ambient, a bit of more extreme noise but not as much as others)

https://troublesalad.bandcamp.com/album/reverb-earth (Psych drone, I guess? This one is pretty turbulent I think, but it still is rooted in warm and textural drones)

https://troublesalad.bandcamp.com/album/rejsekammerat (nice and cold arctic ambient, more subdued, some truly amazing moments and even melodies)

https://troublesalad.bandcamp.com/al...-sleep-machine (A long one, a tribute to Coil's Time Machines. Quiet, minimal, hypnotic drones to help you sleep and dream of surreal things. Maybe not good for a review, I dunno)

https://troublesalad.bandcamp.com/al...ooks-like-snow (Warm drones, overwhelming textures, ambient synths, and a wall of harsh noise closer. My first masterpiece.)

https://troublesalad.bandcamp.com/al...ttle-of-worlds (First album. Frownland always goes on about how great it is but I dunno why, compared to what I've done since. It definitely has a distinct feeling. Mixtures of noise and more experimental numbers)

https://mathscience.bandcamp.com/album/meefer-radness (Long, but shorter than the first M&S. This to me is much more cohesive, while the first seems like there's a lot of weird experiments. Also more video game music and dancey numbers, all wrapped in psychedelic noise.)

https://znmusic.bandcamp.com/album/altar-of-z-n (One of my greatest moments. Dark, avant drone metal, ritual dark ambient, and ambient noise, fairly long)

https://znmusic.bandcamp.com/album/mount-gaash (Along the lines of the one above, but more psychedelic metal/krautrock stylings, more ambient, more eclectic if not aimless at times. This one is two and a half hours, but there's two parts to it)

if you like straight in your face no BS harsh noise, check here https://myheavenisincompletewithoutv....bandcamp.com/ There's not exactly a lot of variety, but I think it's top tier noise, and even gets a little psychedelic at times. All the albums are pretty long too

Listened to this album in full (I downloaded it).

Things I love:
The concept - Really well put together
The album cover is super cool
Every track is better than the last.
The remix track we both did is on there so that's always a plus.

Things I hated:
Not enough tracks - I want more!!!

Nice job blank.

everything from https://thenumber7.bandcamp.com/ part 2

Fallout: Noisetrack: Probably will like this. Halfway into the opener, and that is true. Very distorted and feedback laden walls, but perceivable lo fi melodies from the game. It reminds me of the lo-fi synthwave stuff I really like if not much more boisterous. Textures are starting to blaze in the second track, very dense and lush stuff, again with the drowned melody. This appears to be the main thing with this album, but it's great. It's very singular and cohesive, all of it sounds really complimentary. The textural sound of this project has reached a new height here, I think, and is starting to become something special. 8/10

Who Knows?: The intro here is very deep and low frequency, with some bangs here and there. Then it turns into more harsh noise, much like the last album, still great and fresh. I really enjoy the variation within the single tracks that I'm starting to see, instead of just a single drone or weird noise throughout the whole track. Tracks two and five are great sounding blasts of feedback. I also really like the outro even if it does go back the that minimal loop style from before, it works here though, much more interesting. The last track is alright, but could stand to use more variation in relation to the length. 7/10

Feel the Cold Air: Looking and sounding like this gonna be more atmospheric, and that seems to hold true. The second track is some nice downtempo delay worship. The third combines quiet and loud noise, so that's more evolution in that I haven't heard it before. The last track is the definite highlight, a psychedelic roller coaster of noise ups and downs. Another favorite from the project so far. More building oddness than harsh sound walls. 8/10

Eorðe: This is the best yet. More trippy delay madness like the last but blown out more. It makes the textures a lot awesomer. I hear a niche being established with every track. It's much better than the simpler stuff from the last post. A lot of variety is being packed into every track and the structures are beginning to grow and flourish. 8.5/10

Hands in Fire: Continuing positive growth. Growing diversity. The bagpipe track is badass. Track four comes out of left field with a really nice sounding piano piece underneath the sound of falling rain. This was pretty amazing tbh. More experiments like this can only strengthen your growth. On the whole, I think you've reached a musical zenith thus far and have established a distinct style. There might be a little bit of overlap, but since it's all good it's no matter. I like the way it's going right now. 8.5/10

Thanks for the review. I really enjoyed this project. So it's nice to see someone else like it. Did you actually get track 6 in the download?
