Ok, GBV is not for everyone, I get that. But it's still a classic.

If Tea for the Tillerman isn't a classic I sure as hell don't think I can consider Bee Thousand a classic. Gotta go off precedent personally

Also known as the credit song from 'Extras'.

I'm going by which one I would rather hear. I like Cat Stevens, Tillerman has great stuff, it's just not consistently great. Didn't really break any new ground either.

"Which one Moss would rather hear" does not sound like very good criteria for determining whether an album is a classic or not. I'd rather hear Tea for the Tillerman, does that mean I can throw out absolutes like you and say it's definitively a classic?

Yes, yes you can.

Edit: Going forward I will strive to be completely objective like everyone else.

As I said before, you make your own rules and decide how you vote, but if you want guidelines, I would suggest some of the following:

1. Is the album known outside of its own genre, whether by name, reputation or the singles, if any, it spawned?

2. Can it, conceivably, be listened to by anyone, even those who are not fans?

3. Has it stood the test of time?

4. Is it on any "best ever albums"-type lists?

5. Does it mark a change or a particular period in the history of the band?

6. Did it influence other albums/bands?

Not all or even any of these need to be fulfilled of course for it to attain/lose its status: in this case I know nothing about GBV and so vote No. If, however, we were talking about, say, Sticky Fingers or Pet Sounds or Reign in Blood, or even TMR (:yikes:), albums I don't know too well but know of, I would vote Yes in all cases.

So it looks like Bee Thousand:

Yes=2
No=2

I'm actually surprised this one seems to be somewhat Obscure to people. I thought it was very well known. Since that is the case and based on Trolls list, maybe it's not a classic.

Didn't you, me, and Ninetales all vote yes?

The current score is

Yes = 3
No = 1

This is why I asked you (and I keep asking you but you refuse to do it) to mark the score each time you vote. Otherwise it gets confusing, as in here. Comment all you want, argue all you like, but when you vote add up the score. Please.

But both you and I voted No.
