Recent albums not to have come out on a Friday

Have there been any albums released recently following the New Music Fridays approach (since July time) that have been released on a day of the week other than Friday? My dad claimed that "they've changed it so that everything comes out on that day", but I'd be surprised if no independently released stuff hasn't come out of a Friday. Can you name some recent pieces that have broken the rule?

Also, why did the industry make the move this year, when surely if Friday was decided as the best time, they would have done it years ago? Why was this? Did it give somebody an extra job?

There are always exceptions.

Google music release calendar. Metacritic has a good one.
