My Debut Album-Psychedelic kyboard?

I was hoping for some discussion and musical opinions. I used a korg sv-1, a Behringer UMX 610 and garageband for production and engineering. Any Tips for producing music? What do you recommend. Ableton or Logic Pro.

It isn't on the right section, this kinda stuff is better suited for the artist corner sub-forum

Artists Corner - Music Banter

more specifically this thread.

http://www.musicbanter.com/song-writ...-showcase.html

But good stuff, im 7 minutes into it and so far it sounds great.

It's actually infracting the rules. Posting here for the specific purposes of promoting your music will get you banned.

True but if he is not just here to promote his album and wants to be part of the community he can do it in the forum member showcase thread.

If. he has 16 posts, and immediately presents his music. I smell self-promotion. Either way, even if he is intending to be a proper member here nobody is allowed promote their music until they've been here a few months. Intentions notwithstanding, he's still breaking the rules. It's easy to say you want to be part of the community, but prove it by taking part in threads, THEN maybe MENTION your music. But putting up links is a pretty damning indictment against his true intentions.

I see. i didn't know you had to go through all that to earn the right.

Wait.. why the f*ck am i saying this? this sounds like something he should be saying. :p:

It's actually quite beautiful. Unfortunately, I have to ban you... unless you edit your post, take out the self promotion and stick around for a while.

Ball is in your court, The Mystic.

grindy 11-24-2015 11:21 AM

I like it a lot. You have talent.
I hope you stick around and can eventually legitimately share your stuff.

Trollheart 11-24-2015 01:15 PM

I agree it's absolutely gorgeous, and I'm enjoying listening to it. However that doesn't exempt him from our rules. Great work though.

The Mystic 11-24-2015 02:01 PM

Seems I've caused a bit of trouble. I could care less about promotion but I do care about peer review and critique. Mods, please do what you feel is right. perhaps after I have contributed more to the forum, I can post again in the future to allow you all to hear and review. Thanks!

The Mystic 11-24-2015 02:02 PM

I'll take it down guys :) Really don't want to be banned from Music Banter...

The Mystic 11-24-2015 02:04 PM

Fixed. Thanks guys... glad you enjoyed it.

YorkeDaddy 11-24-2015 03:43 PM

Seems like a genuine dude at least, and the music was indeed very good

I appreciate your understanding the rules. Welcome to MB.

I'd definitely like to review it for my journal if you're okay with that. Got off to a bad start, like to try to be a bit more welcoming...

I'd love that... peer review is all I'm looking for. I'm guessing you already have the link?

Thanks for the welcome guys... I was excited and I'll admit... I kinda skimped over the rules. Cheers.

Trollheart 11-24-2015 07:14 PM

Yeah, have it playing now. You're pretty phenomenal really; parts of it remind me of Vangelis. I'll work on the review soon and let you know when it's going up. People here know me and will tell you I do pretty damn long and intensive reviews. Sometimes good ones too. ;)

Thank you so much. I'm very much looking forward to reading what you have to say.

Trollheart, were you a Safety Patrol when you were in grade school?

Frownland 11-25-2015 12:29 PM

He was more of a school hallway vigilante.

As you know, I'm Irish and we didn't have any sort of hierarchy above teacher/pupils. Head boy? Not in Eire, a chara!
