I haven't thought about this at all. But let's see what I've rated highest since 2010...

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
Clinic - Free Reign II
Deerhunter - Halcyon Digest
Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma
Panda Bear - Tomboy
Ty Segall - Manipulator
Sunken Foal - Friday Syndrome Vol. 2
Total Control - Typical System
Kurt Vile - Wakin on a Pretty Daze
White Fence - For the Recently Found Innocent

It's funny to think about best 10 for a decade compared to top 10s for one particular year. For instance, I may have chosen one album as the best for one year, but from that year I may pick my #3 from that year as a better representation of the decade. Or something like that. Or maybe time has just changed my opinion of it, or it has stood the test of time more than what I initially picked as my best for one year. What I'm getting at is that my #1 albums for 2010-2015 aren't necessarily all represented here.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

2010-2020 is eleven years and the halfway point of the teens was this time last year, but that said, my top ten releases from the past six years are, in no particular order:

Birds of Paradise—Flight Patterns (2013)
Necro Deathmort—Music of Bleak Origin (2011)
Whores.—Ruiner (2011)
King Dude—Fear (2014)
Capitol K—Andean Dub (2012)
Stromae—Racine Carrée (2013)
Melt Yourself Down—Melt Yourself Down (2013)
Tipper—Broken Soul Jamboree (2010)
Igorrr—Nostril (2010)
Author & Punisher—Ursus Americanus (2012)

This was really hard to choose. There were so many I left off that I'm sure if you asked me next week I'd come up with a completely different list.

I haven't heard a lot of those but Nostril is a great choice. I like a little A&T, but I don't think they'd make my list. Which I have to think about for a while.

  • Les Sirènes Débrouillardes - Λena (2010)
  • The Like - Release Me (2010)

That's my top three, firm top two. More to come.
