I'm going to point out that everyone's making fun of you because you were so immediately defensive and unwilling to debate with other people. And also, you're wrong.

Or should I try the openly mocking series of posts? Maybe that would help me "fit in" and not be "alienated" from the dozens of anonymous low-brow life forms that seem to live here. Decisions, decisions....let me put on my monocle and ponder this possibly life-changing issue, you guys carry on...

You were so busy wanting to be offended that you completely overlooked that I was trying to help you out here. But if you're content with burning your bridges with prominent members like myself and others who you'd likely enjoy talking to you if you weren't so busy being a sensitive, stuck up prick, then buddy you're off to a good start because so far we're not liking you. That's all on you.

The only thing you could succeed in grounding in facts if you had decided to respond to my post in such a manner, would be you digging yourself a deeper hole. We're not here to pander to you like you think an artist should to their fans. Act like this and get treated like you are now.

Now you know how an artist would feel if they had to pander to an audience to stay relevant.

Where's the 'drop microphone' emote when I really need it?

Nailed it Frownland.

Terrible analogy.....but nice try, lol.

Really? Is that the best that you can offer to this forum?

I get the same problem nearly every time Zeppelin plays Dazed and Confused live.

Ya, they'd definitely mess around with each of the middle sections.

Stage 1: Bass intro and wah-wah interludes
Stage 2: Main vocal theme
Stage 3: Fast instrumental and 'oriental' riffs
Stage 4: "San Francisco/Achilles Last Stand" or "Woodstock"
Stage 5: Violin bow episode including echo-slapping from the guitar; interlude with Plant's 'instrumental voice'; Gustav Holst's Mars, the Bringer of War and return of the rhythm section
Stage 6: Fast guitar solo and battle with Plant
Stage 7: Slower tempo solo and 'funky' moods
Stage 8: Violent breaks and call and response interlude
Stage 9: Faster solo in crescendos and occasional break-up tempo, some occasions combined with "Walter's Walk" or "St. Tristan's Sword"
Stage 10: New arrangement of Mars, the Bringer of War (slow and fast versions) and final frenzy
Stage 11: Return to main theme
Stage 12: Coda. Final instrumental and vocal battle inside syncopated rhythms, drum-solo and final explosion.

Longest version ever was at the LA Forum in 1975. Clocked in at just over 45 minutes :yikes:

I would literally jump off a building if I had to listen to Dazed and Confused for more then a minute.

^ I would jump with you.

It bothers me a little when they change the vocals in life performances especially if you can hear they're unmotivated but i also don't expect every live performance to be flawless. there's too many personal aspects that can affect the performance as well as artistic preferences and i tend to respect whtvr artistic choice they make as long as i perceive they're getting a kick out of it. if they're just going through the motions and playing fan favorites without any passion that does bother me.

You guys gonna hold hands on the way down? :p:

I have video of two of the shows they did at Earls Court in 1975. The jam sections of Dazed are uniquely different between them. Both versions are great though.
