Default Musical Biopics That Should Be Made

Funkadelic. I'm not a big fan, and I've heard like one album, but I'd like to see how Funkadelic/Parliament founded their own signature brand of funk. Plus,I wanna see someone pull off a great George Clinton.

Led Zeppelin. It's about time someone should do that. Plus, I think Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be a great choice for Jimmy. Looks a bit similar. Not sure about the other three. Also, I have an idea. Keith Moon dies in 1978 at the age of 32, and one of the Zep members mentions how unfortunate it is he died that old. Well, then two years later, Bonham dies at 32. They should point that out. Two great drummers dying at the age of 32.

I have a few I want to see. There are already movies about Meat Loaf, Def Leppard during the Hysteria recording (though it;s said to be a little lame), and several on The Beach Boys.

It would be cool if they made a Residents movie that takes all of the stuff that we know about them and combines it with a fictionalized version of their real lives behind the personas.

Yeah I'd like to see a movie about Funkadelic.

Also Frank Zappa, Tom Waits, John Coltrane, Iggy Pop, Bombino.

Edit: Apparently Jim Jarmusch has an Iggy Pop movie in development.

What about movies about music scenes/movements? I've noticed very little of these outside of punk and hardcore.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

The Stranglers could make a good movie.

How about a Manowar movie made like a Schwarzenegger Conan the Barbarian movie. T'would be amazing.

I like to see a biopic of Ozzy Osbourne, maybe Yorkedaddy can play the role of the chicken who gets toss onstage and Ozzy bites his head off. I would definitely pay to see that.

It was actually Alice Cooper, not Ozzy. Get it right.
