Ripping audio cd - legal?
Is it legal ro take the files from an audio cd I own, possibly break them up and listen to them on my mp3 player?
|
Who cares? Just do it.

It's only illegal if you get caught.

It's only illegal if you give the songs to someone else for free while keeping them yourself. With that said, why do you give a ****. I mean it's not like the government is monitoring your mp3 player and is going to arrest you the moment you put the songs on it...
Or are they? |
Why care? Karma. The golden rule. If the police is not watching, god is.

Stand down. |
I rip all my albums to my hard disk and save the more obscure albums to an external hard drive on top of that. When I sell a disc, I also delete the files. I don't really care about the law. Deleting stuff I no longer own is more out of some sort of idea of respect for the artist.
If you don't pirate things, you're morally right in my book. Do whatever you want, just dont disrespect art and artists :) If you get caught by the law, stand by your actions ;) The law is one thing, what's right is another... |

What the hell does a farting shark have to do with anything? (EDIT: I did an image search and saw this line attached to the pic: "Animals being jerks". Soo... Am I being a jerk??? Or an animal. I need help to figure this out.) |
