Default Music From Your Born Year

Post songs from the year that you were born, they could be like number one hits from that year or just albums that were released during that year and you love a particular song from a specific album. I don't think we have ever had a thread like this but if we do, go ahead and merge mods.

I will start it up with this gem that I absolutely hate. It was a number one hit during the year that I was born. It would be great if you also at least posted the artist name and title. Optional to write a little blurb about the song.

Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart.

I was born in 1974.

Elton John - Don't Let the Sun Go Down Me

I hate lyric vids, but whatevs. This is schlock at its most excellent.

Not sure if I like the original or the duet better...

One of my favorite records was also born in 1994 (I didn't find out about it until about 18 years later).

Couple of other 94 notables

Melvins - Stoner Witch
Acid Bath - When the Kite String Pops
Killing Joke - Pandemonium
King's X - Dogman
God - The Anatomy of Addiction
COC - Deliverance
Darktrone - Transylvanian Hunger
Masada - Alef (their best)

Only gonna post God in this post for the hopeless heathen who haven't yet found God.

Spoiler for the realz:

I can't believe this was a number one song in 1966:

At least "Shapes of Things" and a few other notables are on the same list.

This is not only from my "born year" but was actually recorded on the day of my birth...
