I was confused to why it was picked, not about the genre, and thought Psychedelic Folk/Acid Folk (or maybe Indie Folk) would had been a better choice. It would had included the sub-genre of "Freak Folk." There was talk about either doing Folk or maybe Punk-Folk for a while. Freak-Folk seemed like an eleventh hour pick. It would be like talking about doing Black Metal for weeks, and then on Friday it was changed to Blackgaze.
