like "How Soon is Now" fits the bill of a Madchester song and The Smiths are Mancunians and all
most Madchester bands are the product of Factory Records but The Smiths famously weren't Tony Wilson passed them up one of his biggest mistakes
I'm pretty sure they meant Morrissey solo, but I suppose he should be classified however the Smiths are.
