Amy In The White Coat by Bright Eyes is the only song that has been able to bring me to tears.

"Let Her Cry" by Hootie & The Blowfish. Hahaha. Cheesy, but true. I can't listen to that song without a ton of thinking, though.

All of Carole King's album Tapestry has changed me. I can't imagine not knowing that album... specifically "So Far Away," "Way Over Yonder," and "Beautiful." Favorite. Album. Ever.

Imagine by lennon can always be quite moving when done well.

I suppose a song that is quite moving to any Welsh man would be the welsh national anthem ( no one english say **** here please, i dont usually mind or care but i really am quite patriotic when it comes to 'Mae hen wlad fy nhadau', i think it could end up with me arguing with someone, i'm not making threats i'm just saying it'd upset me...)

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mâd,
Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed.

Gwlad, Gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.

Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,
Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i'm golwg sydd hardd;
Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si
Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi.

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad dan ei droed,
Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ag erioed,
Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad,
Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.

translation.

The old land of my fathers is dear to me,
A land of poets and singers, famous people of renown
Its brave warriors, great patriots,
For freedom they lost their blood

Country, country, I'm partial to my country,
While the sea is a wall for the pure, dear country,
O may the "old language" continue

Old mountainous Wales, paradise of the poet,
Every valley, every cliff is beautiful in my sight;
Through patriotic feeling, more enchanting is the murmur
Of her streams and rivers to me.

If the enemy violated my country underfoot,
The "old language" of the Welsh is alive as ever,
The spirit wasn't hindered by the awful, treacherous hand
Nor the sweet harp of my country.

YouTube - Welsh National Anthem - Millenium Stadium - if anyone wants to know how the words are pronounced, i might aswell have been typing bollocks otherwise.

Also fast car- tracy chapman

I certainly won't say anything about this anthem, or especially about the way it was sung in that stadium.

Other than...incredible! The most rousing anthem I've ever heard and sang with real pride.
Almost makes me jealous not being Welsh.
