Handsome older (50's and 60's) first-time rockers.

Record labels are always looking for boybands;however, why doesn't some rock company sign four or five first-band rockers in their 50's and 60's?
These handsome older lads would likely attract 25-45-year-old gals, and their late start would heighten their buzz.
(What would you call such a group, since "boybands" are young and are in pop reather then rock, though these older rockers are also using their good looks to get attention?)

Labels don't do this because studies show the older people get the less money they spend on music.

Anyone catch The Pretenders on Conan the other night? Damn, Chrissie Hynde is still pretty smoking considering she's 65!

Idk, but it would be pretty good if James Hetfield let me slap his butt someday.
