I don't even know how to respond to this. I took a suggestion from a member of the club who has contributed and is well known, noted that I thought it would start a ****storm. Two or three other people supported it so I put it to the vote. And I still get called a fascist. Oh man. Like, just **** you. Totally.

I doubt you'll like their second album any better than the first, as this was hard-edged compared to The Door Behind the Door, which is pretty much dreamy all the way through.

Re your point about Merzbow etc; all I want, as I said, is a few lines if that's all you can manage, and I would rather everyone listened to every album, otherwise we'll have a pick-and-choose mentality where half the albums won't get listened to.

Where did I say that? I made it quite clear that I didn't think it would go down well, and then I put it to the vote. And you can be a fascist for liking things now, can you? You guys really are hard work. Sometimes I don't even know why I bother. You see something like this and your only interest seems to be in tearing it down, mocking it, pulling it apart or finding fault. It gets very old. And predictable. How would you like it if people kept voting late on your Metal Survivor thread, or for the wrong genre, and then gave you **** for being a fascist? See, rules are ok when they suit you.
