Any personal highlights from the album? I'll be straight with you and admit that this one didn't catch me at first. It took a couple listens for me to really appreciate it. You might give it another shot if you feel like it.

Nothing quite stuck out upon first listen. I plan to listen to it again because I did like the sound a lot. Some of it was very cliche though so it wasn't anything amazing. It's still quite good though. Definitely a surprise in some ways.

Because my opinions are sharp like knives.

I listen to pretty much all of LP's discography every year. I kinda dig the stuff because it was what got me into heavier music. Do you hate it though? Or do you still like it?

Tristan_Geoff 05-08-2017 09:32 PM

Proud to say that that album was never a part of my childhood and I still have yet to hear anything from it besides the singles (and the DJ Shadow influenced track because I was curious)

I'll call it a guilty pleasure then. The whole discography. Except the new album. God it's going to be terrible.

I tend to enjoy Bad Religion quite a bit more than Green Day. Honestly it comes down to the vocals for me though. Bad Religion's output instrumentally, from what I have heard, is probably on par if not slightly better than Green Day. I don't care for Green Day mainly because Billie Joe's vocals are off putting.

Call it an intuition. The three songs released so far are so bad that nothing on that record could save it.

Of course that's me being extremely hypocritical. I apologize for jumping the gun. I never wish for an album to be bad. But I certainly do not have any high hopes for it.
