Edgy choice, but come on. It's not that bad.

Nevermind is one of the best pretty durn good albums out there. Overrated or not it's still pretty durn good.

I wouldn't say this is the worst, but it's certainly one of the most overrated: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Other people say they remember the entire thing, while I don't find one song from it enjoyable.

I liked Nevermind as a teenager but now I can't stand how glossy it is

Bleach hits hard, no doubt, and I've over listened to all those Nevermind singles to the extreme, but Nevermind is still a more solid album and that production really lets the pop choruses soar and the impact of the instruments ring out and hit that much heavier. I don't really want my punk or punk-derivative bands to use such clean production in general, but it definitely works for Nevermind. The trick is to crank it up as loud as you can stand and then keep going if you're not a pussy. It's a way more full sound than any lo-fi punk sound so it's kind of overwhelming in comparison.

Honestly though if I'm in a Nirvana mood I just switch between their albums arbitrarily so I don't really care much which one I'm listening to cause I'll probably be listening to another one in 15-20 minutes.

Who cares? Grunge is dead.

When would this have been edgy? 1995? 1993?
