Uh... no. Just cause it gets submitted doesn't mean it gets added to the classic list. It has to survive through the selection process to be a classic.

We'll go with 5. You can have up to five submissions in at any given time.

...I mean yeah that's what happens with a poll isn't it? Not everyone's fav album will be selected upon the group's vote. Also I wasn't sure if we were allowed multiple picks but,

My Picks

Milton Wright - Friends & Buddies
Dr Buzzard's Original Savannah Band - (eponymous)
Zapp - II
Parliament - Mothership Connection
Marcos Resende & Index - Festa Para Um Novo Rei

Ok. Here's what's going to happen, you get 5 submissions. Tomorrow I'll announce the first album for voting tomorrow.

I'm going to start a new thread for each album with a poll that's numbered 1-10. You'll get one week to vote on the poll. Then it closes. Using the poll I'll create an average. For the album to be considered a classic it must get an average of 7 or more(I might change this if no albums are getting in).

I was worried about posting my five in case anyone teased me about my pedestrian indie favourites, but then I opened up the list and read it and now I don't feel bad.

1. Of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?
2. The National - Boxer
3. Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
4. Brand New - The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
5. The Antlers - Hospice

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

I think the albums should all have to be a certain amount of years old going by year of release maybe? Also, maybe everyone who votes should have to write a brief summary of why they think it should or should not get in to promote people listening to the album. Just a few ideas I had.
